American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long Term Care (Extended Care) position in Miles City, MT, requiring an active MT or compact RN license and at least one year of long-term care experience.
Details- Long term care (extended care) setting within a hospital environment
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Uses Epic for charting
- Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or higher) required
- Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to assignment start
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must be able to lift objects over 100 lbs, with frequent lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Conducts holistic, age-specific resident assessments and develops individualized nursing plans of care
- Analyzes clinical data (lab, imaging, diagnostics) to guide care planning and monitors residents for changes in condition
- Manages urgent and emergent resident care situations and demonstrates competence in medication and IV administration
- Supervises, coaches, and evaluates assigned CNA staff; delegates tasks based on resident needs and staff competency
- Coordinates and documents discharge planning, patient/family education, and care transitions
- Maintains working knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicare skilled criteria, and MDS documentation requirements
- Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
