Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide nursing care for patients with common diagnoses such as CHF, diabetic complications, and pneumonia.
\n
• Administer and manage medications, including infrequent titration of drips like Heparin and Bumex.
\n
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure effective patient care.
\n
• Assist with telemonitoring and respond to patient alarms in coordination with CCU staff.
\n
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and adhere to the navy blue scrub dress code.
\n
• Report within 30 minutes if placed on low census and expected to float as "helping hands" if needed.
\n

\n\nQualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse license; can apply for the OR 90-Day Emergency License.
\n
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
\n
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing with some pediatric patient care.
\n
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as scheduled.
\n
• Familiarity with MEDITECH charting system.
\n
• Capable of working with CPAP, BiPap, and high-flow oxygen devices.
\n
