Responsibilities
  • Design plumbing and mechanical building systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, municipal, and industrial projects.

  • Prepare construction documents, specifications, calculations, and engineering reports.

  • Develop domestic water, sanitary, storm drainage, natural gas, and specialty piping system designs.

  • Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing.

  • Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, electrical, and civil engineering teams.

  • Participate in project meetings and client presentations.

  • Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction administration activities.

  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.

  • Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 4+ years of experience in plumbing and mechanical building system design.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure.

  • Strong understanding of plumbing codes, mechanical systems, and building design standards.

  • Experience preparing construction documents for commercial and institutional facilities.

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication and project coordination skills.
