About the Opportunity
Corvia Consulting is assisting a respected personal injury law firm in Los Angeles, California, in its search for an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney. This is an onsite position offering the opportunity to work closely with an established litigation team handling complex personal injury matters. Following a successful probationary period, a hybrid work arrangement may be available based on performance and business needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to manage cases from inception through trial.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute litigation strategies for personal injury cases
- Draft, review, and file motions, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Attend court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials
- Manage all aspects of case litigation and ensure compliance with court deadlines
- Collaborate with clients, paralegals, experts, and support staff
- Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal arguments
- Evaluate case value and negotiate settlements when appropriate
- Provide exceptional client representation and communication throughout the litigation process
Requirements
Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in the State of California
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and personal injury law
- Experience drafting and arguing motions
- Experience conducting depositions and preparing cases for trial
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal court systems
- Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and writing skills
- Ability to independently manage a diverse caseload while meeting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred
