Overview:
We are seeking an Experience ARRT Certified Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiography to join our dedicated healthcare team in Columbia, South Carolina. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic medical environment, providing top-notch care to our Nation's Veterans. Location: Columbia, SC

  • Current Schedule: Day Shift Clinic Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Days: Monday–Friday + rotational weekends/holidays as needed

Compensation: $50 to $55 per hour

Job Duties:

  • Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Interventional Radiography is responsible for the performance and coordination of all Vascular/lnterventional (Angiography) exams and procedures and reconstructions of raw data associated with the Vascular/lnterventional(Angiography) examinations.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for the performance and coordination of Vascular Interventional (Angiography) exams, procedures. Exams are performed with and without the use of contrast materials. The purpose of these exams is so that proper diagnosis and treatment may be completed.
  • The incumbent must have knowledge of complex radiology imaging equipment and have very good attention to detail. Technologist performing exams must have a specialized knowledge of IR procedures and a detailed knowledge of anatomic and vascular anatomy.

Scope of Care:

Contractor's technologist(s) shall be responsible for performing procedures according to their certification, common procedures include:

  • Biopsies & Drainages
  • Stent Placement
  • Angiograms with Interventions
  • CO2 Angiography
  • Balloon Angioplasty
  • Arteriovenous (AVF) Procedures
  • EVAR (AAA Endograft Procedures)
  • Tunneled HD Catheter Placement/Removal
  • PICC Line Placement/Removal
  • Venograms
  • Venous Procedures
  • IVC Filter Placement/Removal
  • Embolization's
  • Port Placement/Removal

Qualifications Required:

  • Certification. All applicants must be certified in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, Radiography (ARRT) (R). - IR Certification is preferred.
  • BLS Card from American Heart Association
