Job Description

Job Purpose: Manage and oversee the maintenance activities for all equipment and systems within the facility, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Lead the maintenance team to ensure preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs are effectively implemented and aligned with operational goals.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive maintenance strategies, including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs, to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Monitor the performance and reliability of all mechanical, electrical, and control systems, identifying areas for improvement and necessary
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and controlling expenses related to repairs, spare parts, and equipment upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of critical spare parts.
Other Accountabilities: Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to align maintenance activities with broader operational objectives.
- Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring the timely procurement of spare parts and maintenance services.
- Provide regular performance reports to upper management, including key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and safety compliance.
- Develop and implement training programs for the maintenance team to enhance skills and improve overall team performance.
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance management in water treatment, industrial, or manufacturing sectors, and 5+ year in O&M
- Proven experience managing mechanical, electrical, and control systems maintenance, with a strong focus on equipment reliability and cost control.
- Expertise in implementing and managing CMMS systems for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in maintenance management, reliability engineering, or asset management (desirable).
- Strong knowledge in electrical/mechanical/Instrumentation asset operation/maintenance and reparation.
- Experience in computer software such as CMMS (MAXIMO, COSWIN, ABISMO, etc.) and Microsoft Office package.
