Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Correctional Center - Springfield, VT

Job Title: LPN

Location: Springfield, VT

Rate: Up to $2025.00 Gross weekly + benefits available from day 1

Shift: 12 hour nights

Contract: 13-week Contract; Local or Travel accepted

Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience preferred
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of VT
• CPR Certification
• Ability to work in a correctional setting

Certifications:
• Active RN License (VT)
• CPR/BLS Certification

Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Work under supervision of Charge Nurse(s) to support patient care and education
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility protocols
• Assist with diagnostic testing, procedures, and patient monitoring
• Respond to patient needs in a correctional healthcare environment
• Document nursing care accurately and in accordance with facility policy
• Communicate effectively with healthcare and correctional staff
• Maintain compliance with all safety, security, and clinical guidelines
