Job Summary
Were looking to hire a hard-working Janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. The Cleaning Technician assigned to Cal Fire Fortuna is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for Cal Fire personnel and visitors. This position requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work independently while meeting GHCS quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Dust and wipe horizontal surfaces
• Clean and disinfect touchpoints
• Vacuum carpets and entrance mats
• Sweep and mop hard surface floors
• Clean breakroom/kitchen areas
• Monitor and report supply needs
• Submit required nightly completion photos
• Report maintenance concerns or building issues to GHCS management

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services
• Drivers license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
• Excellent stamina and physical health
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
