Job Description
Urology Locum Opportunity – Washington
A healthcare organization is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist to provide ongoing inpatient and outpatient coverage. This full-time opportunity includes clinic, operating room, and call responsibilities, with a mix of procedural and general urology care.
Compensation: Hourly: $330/hr, 24 Hour Call: $2590 per 24 hours to include, 4hrs of Gratis, Night Call: $750/shift, Call Back: $410/hr.
Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP
Coverage Need: Ongoing through December 2026
Schedule
Full-time coverage (1.0 FTE)
Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Typical schedule:
3 clinic days per week
1 operating room day per week
1 administrative day
Approximately 7 days of unrestricted call per month
Weekend call rotation: 1:2
Restricted/beeper call with:
10-minute callback response requirement
Must remain within approximately 30–45 minutes of the facility
Average after-hours calls/texts: 0–4 per shift

Clinical Responsibilities
Outpatient
Annual follow-up visits
Diagnosis and treatment of erectile dysfunction
Kidney stone management
Male incontinence treatment
Cystoscopies
General urology evaluations and procedures
Surgical/Procedural
Catheter placement
Ureteral stent placement
Cystoscopy
TURP
Ureteroscopy
Prostate biopsy
Circumcision
ESWL (Shock Wave Lithotripsy)
Orchiopexy
TURBT
Hydrocelectomy
Spermatocelectomy
Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate (PVP)
Litholapaxy
Surgical assisting as needed
Required Experience
Da Vinci robotic surgery experience
Standard urology procedures in clinic and operating room
Documentation of at least 100 relevant surgical cases performed within the last 24 months
Patient Volume
Average of 18 patients per day
Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
Qualifications
Required
Board Certified in Urology
Active Washington Medical License
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
Washington CSR
Epic experience
Minimum 2 years of experience
Recent case logs demonstrating procedural competency
Preferred
Washington license in hand for expedited start
Providers with active IMLC Letter of Qualification may also be considered
Credentialing
Fast-track credentialing available for qualified candidates
Recent procedural case logs required for privileges review
