Shipping Assistant

Outline of the role

Assist the shipping department’s process by coordinating activities with other departments.

Key responsibilities and tasks

• Input and edit shipping functions producing Interplant Delivery Tickets and Bills of Lading
• Input and edit shipping functions producing Delivery Tickets and Bills of Lading
• Run Backorders
• Split Deliveries for shipment
• File Deliveries
• Submit ASN’s
• Work with Inside Sales on Backorders and late Deliveries
• Help Enter Trip Sheets for trucks
• All other duties as directed by Shipping Supervisor or Plant Manager
