Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Operates grain‑handling and conveyance equipment to safely move grain to and from storage. This role sets up, adjusts, and monitors semi‑automated equipment; loads and unloads trucks, containers, and rail cars; and supports housekeeping and minor maintenance activities. Position requires basic computer skills to run scales and enter data.

Non‑Harvest Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Harvest Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Operates conveyance equipment to move grain into and out of storage.
Loads grain for outbound shipments, including trucks, containers, and rail cars.
Performs housekeeping tasks and assists with minor repairs to maintain safe, clean operations.
Operates grain drying equipment and monitors performance.
Receives and follows work instructions to complete daily assignments.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
0–2 years of relevant experience in grain handling, production, or equipment operation.
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply work‑related skills.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks.
Ability to climb up to 150 feet as required.
