The Houseman plays a vital role in overall hotel operations, ensuring both the property and guest experience meet the highest standards. The AM Houseman is responsible for maintaining all public areas in a clean, organized, and “photo-ready” condition at all times. The PM Houseman focuses on guest service, responding promptly to requests and ensuring wait times remain within established service standards.
In addition, the Houseman supports the front desk and housekeeping team by keeping amenities and towels fully stocked, maintains the outdoor grounds to ensure a clean and welcoming appearance, and remains flexible and ready to assist in any area of the hotel as needed.
