Retail Shift Leader

The Retail Shift Leader plays a crucial role in managing daily store operations and leading a team to ensure efficient and excellent customer service. This position involves overseeing a medium to small team, coordinating shift activities, and maintaining store standards while reporting directly to the Store Manager or Store Owner. The role covers day, evening, and night shifts with no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of up to 10 employees during shifts
• Ensure smooth store operations across day, evening, and night shifts
• Maintain excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
• Manage cash handling and daily register reconciliations
• Oversee inventory control and stock management
• Coordinate with Store Manager or Owner to meet store goals
• Implement conflict resolution techniques within the team and with customers
• Communicate shift expectations and updates effectively to the team
