Sr. Maintenance Technician

Job Opportunity: Springfield, Ohio

Our client is looking for a Sr. Maintenance Technician to join their team. Our client is a regional leader in supply chain solutions for steel products and services, and they have been in business for over 85 years now.

The Sr. Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment and machinery; ordering, repairing, or fabricating necessary components; and installing, calibrating, and adjusting equipment as needed to ensure optimal operational performance.

Qualified candidates will have 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally with CNC and laser machines.

Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Previous experience working on laser and CNC machines.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Working knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electronics, carpentry, and masonry.
- Strong mechanical background.
- Experience in fabricating metal structures preferred.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Capable of using various hand tools and measuring instruments.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Have a working knowledge of all equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on laser and CNC machines.
- Communicate to immediate Supervisor status of all equipment not in working condition; to prioritize and coordinate work schedule.
- Maintain OSHA required maintenance records for all equipment.
- Maintain supply of perishable parts.
- Maintain proper tools for immediate repair of minor breakdowns.
- Work with supervision in appraisal of major repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Assist supervision in acquiring and renting other equipment when necessary.
- Performs other duties as related or assigned.
