Food Service Cook - Part Time / Weekends

We are currently seeking 2 cooks to fill the following roles:

• Full-Time Cook, to fill variable shifts from 9am-5pm and 11am-7pm
• Part-Time Cook, to fill variable shifts between 9am-5pm and 11am-7pm

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
• Ensure meals are served on time and at appropriate temperatures
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area
• Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety regulations
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare food in large quantities
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
• ServSafe certification (preferred)
• Basic math skills
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
