Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team immediately.
This position requires hands-on experience creating shipping labels using FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip. Applicants without experience using these systems will not be considered.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of shipping and receiving experience, including processing package and LTL freight shipments, preparing shipping documentation, and supporting daily warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Create and process shipping labels using FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip.
- Coordinate package and LTL freight shipments.
- Obtain shipping quotes and provide freight costs to sales representatives as needed.
- Prepare bills of lading and other shipping documentation.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Load, unload, and move materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Shipping & Receiving experience.
- Required experience using FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip to create shipping labels.
- Experience coordinating LTL freight shipments.
- Ability to prepare shipping documents and bills of lading.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Experience with domestic and international shipping.
