Medical Assistant for Dermatology Office

Avery Partners is looking for a Medical Assistant with Dermatology experience. If you have cosmetic derm experience, please apply!

Position is full time. Hours are 7am-5pm., 4, 10 hour shifts

Job Duties are:

• Prepare patients for exams
• Set up and assist provider with for all medical procedures
• Update medical history, take vitals
• Assist with biopsies, surgeries and cosmetic procedures
• Call patients with results
• E-scribing prescriptions
• Handle prior authorizations
• Knowledge of sterile technique and wound care
• Instrument cleaning/sterilization care
• Document visit
• schedule appointments
• stock rooms with supplies
• general housekeeping duties
• EMR exp. They have Nextech
• handle high patient volume and fast pace (around 50 patients every day)
