Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients, you'll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of project execution while building the foundation for a future career in project management.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with teams, staying organized, and seeing projects come to life from the ground up.

What You'll Do
  • Support Project Managers with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and project startup activities.
  • Assist with managing project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project logs.
  • Help coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
  • Track and expedite shop drawings, material procurement, and equipment deliveries.
  • Assist with maintaining project schedules and monitoring project progress.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate updates with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and process invoices, change requests, and other project-related documentation.
  • Collect and organize as-built drawings, closeout documents, warranties, and operation manuals.
  • Partner with Accounting, Estimating, and Operations teams to support project objectives.
  • Learn the processes and tools necessary to successfully manage construction projects from start to finish.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0–3 years of construction experience through internships, co-ops, or full-time employment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar software is a plus.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to build a long-term career in construction.
Why Elford

At Elford, you'll work alongside experienced construction professionals on projects that make a lasting impact on our communities. Through mentorship, hands-on project experience, and opportunities for career advancement, you'll gain the knowledge and skills needed to grow into future Project Management leadership roles.
