Job Description:

Position Overview:

The Partner/Channel Marketing Manager reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing for the T-Mobile account and is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing marketing strategies supporting Client's prepaid business, primarily focused on Metro by T-Mobile and Mint Mobile.

This role requires a strong blend of partner marketing expertise, digital marketing knowledge, business acumen, and relationship management skills. The ideal candidate is a strategic marketer who can also operate as a business partner, influencing external stakeholders, negotiating marketing support, and driving Client's share of voice across partner channels.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Business Planning, and external carrier partners to execute integrated marketing initiatives that drive revenue, market share, customer acquisition, retention, and product awareness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of partner marketing strategies for Metro by T-Mobile and Mint Mobile.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, Business Planning, and Analytics teams to support product launches, promotional campaigns, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and customize integrated marketing campaigns including digital marketing, paid media, online merchandising, and promotional programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partner organizations to secure marketing support, promotional opportunities, and increased visibility for Client products.
  • Negotiate marketing investments, placements, and co-marketing opportunities with carrier partners.
  • Develop unique local, regional, and national programs that support acquisition, retention, and market share objectives.
  • Collaborate with partner marketing teams to improve Client's share of voice across digital and retail channels.
  • Support experiential marketing events, promotional activations, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Create internal and external communications that effectively communicate value propositions, channel strategies, and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend optimizations to improve business results.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of marketing experience.
  • Experience in Partner Marketing, Channel Marketing, Trade Marketing, or Customer Marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, paid media, online merchandising, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience working directly with external partners, customers, vendors, resellers, distributors, or channel organizations.
  • Strong relationship management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly cross-functional environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Agency, Telecommunications, Wireless, Consumer Electronics, Retail, or Channel Marketing environments.
  • Experience supporting reseller, carrier, distributor, or partner marketing programs.
  • Experience with paid media, digital campaigns, and online marketing channels.
  • Experience managing marketing initiatives tied to sales promotions and product launches.
  • Exposure to experiential marketing, events, and retail marketing programs.
