Technology Business Systems Consultant (Loan IQ)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, business systems data, or business systems design
• Experience working with Loan IQ in a BA, QA, production support, or operations capacity
• Experience supporting commercial lending transactions (syndicated, bilateral, or member deals)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience translating business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery practices
• Experience using Jira or similar tools for backlog management, defect tracking, and requirements documentation
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience with UAT planning, test script creation, and execution support
• Knowledge of process controls, compliance, and operational risk considerations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams

About the Job

In this role, you will support complex, large-scale technology and business system initiatives within commercial lending platforms. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful delivery of system enhancements and production support activities. This role requires deep expertise in Loan IQ, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of complex business and technology challenges, including evaluating multiple factors and dependencies
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business and system requirements
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
• Support Agile delivery by managing backlog items, defects, and prioritization in Jira or similar tools
• Develop and execute UAT test strategies, including drafting test scripts and supporting validation efforts
• Provide production support by triaging issues, assessing impact, and coordinating resolutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and compliant technology solutions
• Ensure alignment with organizational policies, controls, and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, systems, and delivery practices
