Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care and transportation to patients in various situations.
- Assess patients’ conditions and administer appropriate medical interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient care records and document all treatments provided.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and emergency responders.
- Ensure the ambulance and medical equipment are clean, stocked, and in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Current EMT certification and valid driver's license.
- Previous experience in emergency medical services 3 years or more preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and emergency response protocols.
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to patient care.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
