Job Title: Engineer, Manufacturing II N02
Location:  Waltham, MA 02453 United States
Duration: 06 months on W2 contract
 
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor s degree (B.S.) in science or engineering discipline 3 years’ experience
  • Applied experience of LEAN and Six Sigma tools and methods Able to work well in a team environment
  • Technical writing: may include protocols, reports, and validations
  • Experience with FMEA s and Design of Experiments Time management skills allowing for working on multiple projects at once.
  • Equipment design and build a plus CAD experience (Solid works) a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate new product manufacturability and launch into production.
  • Optimization of processes for manufacture and product flow.
  • Validation of equipment and processes as required.
  • Develop capacity planning and facilities layout for equipment moves and additions. Coordinate operator training for new and existing processes, products, and equipment.
  • Coordinate and utilize external resources such as vendors and sister sites to resolve technical issues or improve processes or products.
  • Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes. process improvement opportunities and innovates and implements process improvements on multiple and moderately complex processes.
  • Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and or automation related to existing production lines and technologies.
  • Collaborate with Production Technology Engineers on production technology improvement projects.
  • Conduct time studies to verify or establish process specifications Support operations and new product development teams.
  • Execute cost improvement activities.
  • Production line support including but not limited to implementing process improvements, troubleshooting equipment, addressing process questions, setting up kanbans, and capacity planning.
  • Write and execute process and equipment validations (IQ, OQ,PQ).
  • Review prints for new and existing products to determine accuracy and manufacturability. All Other Essential Duties as directed.
