Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Edison, NJ
Reports To: Site Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to support inventory management, logistics coordination, and operational efficiency for our Edison, NJ distribution operation. This role works closely with warehouse, sales, customer service, accounting, vendors, and the HQ Logistics team to ensure accurate inventory records, timely shipments, and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound shipment coordination, tracking, and freight follow-up.

• Monitor inventory levels, transfers, adjustments, and discrepancies.

• Lead cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.

• Investigate inventory and shipment issues and work with internal teams to resolve them.

• Maintain accurate records and transactions within the ERP system.

• Coordinate with vendors, carriers, warehouse staff, and internal departments.

• Generate and review inventory and logistics reports.

• Identify process improvement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

• Associate degree with relevant experience will also be considered.

• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, warehouse operations, purchasing, or related fields.

• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems; Sage 100 experience is a plus.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced distribution environment.

• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

• Proficient in ERP system, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and business software applications.

• English proficiency is required; bilingual Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Wholesale distribution, foodservice, beverage, import/export, or B2B operations.

• Inventory audits, cycle counts, freight coordination, and vendor communication.
