• Contract: W2 only, 12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
• Pay: $70.00-75.00 /hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Overview
As a Software Engineer for Training Systems, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of next-generation systems aimed at digitizing and scheduling training for operational team members. This position involves integrating with both new and existing systems and establishing the architectural vision for the Mobile Training Experience products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement systems for digitizing and scheduling training.
• Integrate new and existing systems while establishing architectural vision.
• Support all stages of the software development lifecycle both individually and within a team.
• Provide guidance and support to QA and product teams.
• Maintain the technical relevance and stability of the technology stack.
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and world-class solutions to end users.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
• Proficiency in Angular 12 and above.
• Experience with JavaScript/Typescript.
• Experience designing and implementing REST Services.
• Strong understanding of programming, design patterns, version control best practices, systems requirements, and deployment protocols.
• Proven ability to identify problems and opportunities, championing solutions within the delivery organization.
• Ability to complete tasks on time and within budget, delivering high-quality work with minimal management oversight.
• Experience delivering resilient, scalable, high-performance, and secure software solutions.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with geographically distributed software delivery teams.
• Familiarity with developing web applications on cloud platforms.
• Experience with APIs designed to interact with relational databases.
• Background in UI/UX design and development.
• Knowledge of application performance and monitoring best practices, including profiling, logging, and monitoring and alerting tools.
