Property Management Office Coordinator

About Us

We are a well-established property management company managing hundreds of residential rental homes throughout Metro Detroit. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Office Coordinator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced office environment.

Position Summary

The Office Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for tenants, property owners, vendors, and prospective renters. This role combines front desk responsibilities, administrative support, and showing coordination to help keep our office running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Greet and assist visitors to the office
  • Coordinate and schedule property showings for prospective tenants
  • Process rent payments and maintain accurate records
  • Assist tenants, owners, and vendors with general inquiries
  • Manage office filing, scanning, and document organization
  • Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Assist property managers with administrative tasks
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Perform light office cleaning and organization
  • Help ensure a professional and welcoming office environment
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous office, administrative, customer service, or receptionist experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Real estate or property management experience is a plus but not required
