Warehouse Lead

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Lead.  This position will coordinate daily warehouse activities, including the distribution of products and proper inventory storage. The Warehouse Manager will be working directly with an inventory control manager, and must have a strong understanding of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards. Upon hire, this role will move to a Warehouse Manager position.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic
• 2-4 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Basic computer skills
• Basic mathematical skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Forklift certification or willing to be certified
• Physical Work - Ability exert 30 - 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for directing and overseeing the warehouse operations.
• Order materials from vendors to ensure that the stock is replenished.
• Direct warehouse workers in order to ensure that items are properly shipped and stored.
• Manage inventory during peak sales periods.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
• Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
