Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Michigan-licensed CRNA for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Jackson, Michigan. You’ll join a collaborative anesthesia team providing hospital-based anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients, including general surgical cases, neurosurgical cases, and spinal anesthesia.

Opportunity Details

  • Location: Jackson, Michigan
  • Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
  • Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia team at a Level II Trauma Center
  • Coverage: Ongoing
  • Scheduled Coverage (ready dates): June 5, June 13, June 21, June 28, and July 9

Clinical Scope

  • Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for adult and pediatric patients
  • Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, including management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure
  • Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures
  • Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process
  • Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)
  • Provide airway management, including intubation if needed
  • Document anesthesia care and records using Epic EMR

Practice Environment

  • Hospital-based anesthesia practice within a Level II Trauma Center
  • Collaborative anesthesia team supporting general surgical cases, neurosurgical cases, and spinal anesthesia
  • Epic EMR used for anesthesia documentation and records

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Michigan license
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) qualification with active certification and license
  • DEA certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with neurosurgical cases and spinal anesthesia
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS (preferred)
