Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Radiation Oncologist in Alexandria, Louisiana for a locum tenens opportunity. This role supports an outpatient radiation oncology practice with daily treatment delivery and routine rounding.

Opportunity Details

• Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Outpatient Radiation Oncology
• Coverage: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• No call

Clinical Scope

• Deliver radiation oncology treatment planning and management
• Provide clinical rounding (rare)
• Oversee on-treatment visits (OTV days)
• Coordinate daily treatment workflow with the radiation oncology team
• Document care in EPIC and Aria

Practice Environment

• Outpatient radiation oncology practice
• Uses EPIC and Aria
• Team support includes nursing staff, CNA support, and radiation therapists

Requirements

• MD degree
• Active Louisiana medical license
• Radiation Oncology clinical experience
