Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Texas licensed Diagnostic Radiologist for an onsite locum tenens Interventional Radiology opportunity in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role focuses on bread-and-butter IR procedures with an average of 4–7 procedures per day, with higher volume during peak times such as Spring Break. Providers will collaborate with radiology leadership to build a schedule aligned with comfort level, with PA support available for fluoroscopy and related procedures.

Opportunity Details

• Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology (onsite)
• Coverage: Ongoing
• Scheduled Coverage Window: First two weeks of July or last week of July (please indicate availability)

Schedule Details

• Weekdays: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (onsite)
• Evening coverage: Optional call from 5:00 PM–8:00 AM
• Weekends and holidays: Call required
• Call volume: Lighter than at a prior reference site; approximately 2 callbacks per weeknight call rotation and only a few callbacks over a weekend
• Site activity: Provider will work mornings at one onsite location and may work afternoons at a second onsite location if procedures are scheduled there; otherwise, the provider stays at the morning site

Clinical Scope

• Bread-and-butter Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
• Average 4–7 procedures per day depending on volume
• Higher volume during peak times such as Spring Break
• Collaboration with the Radiology Director to build a schedule based on comfort level
• PA support available for fluoroscopy and related procedures

Practice Environment

• Onsite-only practice with activity across onsite locations
• Schedule structured around procedure volume and site activity

Requirements

• Active Texas medical license
• Board Certified (ABR) in Radiology
• Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology
