California Ice Company is a leading manufacturer and distributor of packaged ice, dry ice, and block ice throughout Southern California. We are focused on growing our retail presence throughout the Imperial Valley and are seeking a motivated sales professional to help expand our customer base.
Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Retail Sales Representative to identify, visit, and develop relationships with retail stores throughout the Imperial Valley. This is a field-based sales role focused on acquiring new accounts and growing our delivery routes.
The ideal candidate is comfortable making cold calls in person, building relationships with store owners and managers, and creating new business opportunities. Because many of our customers are Spanish-speaking, fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit convenience stores, liquor stores, grocery stores, markets, and other retail businesses throughout the Imperial Valley
- Prospect and identify new customers for California Ice Company products and services
- Conduct in-person sales presentations and cold calls
- Build relationships with store owners, managers, and decision-makers
- Generate new accounts and add stops to existing delivery routes
- Maintain records of customer visits, leads, and sales activity
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to onboard new customers
- Follow up with prospects and maintain ongoing customer relationships
- Represent California Ice Company professionally in the marketplace
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with door-to-door and face-to-face sales
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to travel throughout Brawley, El Centro, Calexico, Imperial, Holtville, and surrounding areas
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency

Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional evening or weekend visits may be required based on customer availability
