Our client, a leading beverage solutions provider, is seeking a Quality Manager Food and Beverage to join their team. As a Quality Manager Food and Beverage, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the site operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Manager Food and Beverage
Location: Joplin, MO
Pay Range: $47-50 hour Contractor 6 month could be longer contract
Shift: Ability to work days, with nights and weekends as required
What's the Job?
- Oversee the site’s quality department, ensuring total product and package quality standards are met.
- Manage food safety, quality cost management, safety protocols, and compliance with GMPs and other regulations.
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of food safety and quality management systems, including SQF.
- Conduct daily quality inspections and ensure all products meet compliance standards.
- Manage laboratory, microbiology, sanitation, and raw materials quality processes to optimize resources and meet specifications.
What's Needed?
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Food Science, Quality, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in quality within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or beverage industry.
- Proficiency in Lab Data Collection Program, Excel, Word, SAP, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and lead teams effectively.
