Our client, a leading organization in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Logistics Associate II (Forklift Operator) to join their team. As a Logistics Associate II, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting various logistical functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Logistics Associate II (Forklift Operator)
Location: Eagan, MN
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Position Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Shift: Monday - Friday; 7:00AM - 3:30PM
What's the Job?
- Perform warehouse tasks including picking, repack picking, and shipping of small parcels and LTL freight
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts for loading and unloading
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking inventory to ensure smooth warehouse flow
- Participate in general maintenance activities and cycle counting to maintain facility standards
- Support various warehouse duties as assigned under management guidance
What's Needed?
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Forklift (Standup/Sitdown) experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work well within a team
- Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or transportation is preferred but not required
