ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a part-time opportunity in North San Juan, California for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers a manageable caseload and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students across multiple grade levels.

Position Details

• Position: Special Education Teacher
• Location: North San Juan, CA
• Schedule: 3 days per week
• Contract Dates: August 19, 2026 – June 10, 2027
• Caseload: TK–8th Grade
• Student Caseload: Approximately 9 students
• Number of Openings: 1
• Pay Rate: $40–$50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction and academic support based on student needs
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications

• Active California Special Education Teaching Credential required
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting a multidisciplinary team
