Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) – RCIS Accepted
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hospital-Based IR Suite)
Schedule Options:
- Monday–Friday (Weekdays)
- 4x10 Day Shifts
- 3x12 Night Shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun)
- 3rd Shift Coverage Available
- 40 hours/week
Compensation:
- Tech I: $34 – $52/hr
- Tech III: $40 – $60/hr
- Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
- $5,000 Relocation Assistance (case-by-case)
- Competitive pay progression through internal tech ladder program (up to +10% base increase potential)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to support a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital-based IR suite. This role involves assisting physicians during angiographic and interventional procedures, including stroke and trauma cases, while ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and procedural efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform specialized radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging during interventional procedures
- Scrub, circulate, and assist physicians during invasive IR procedures
- Prepare and position patients and explain procedures clearly
- Assist with catheter/sheath removal and post-procedure patient care
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and ensure comfort and safety
- Manage contrast media, medications, and procedural supplies
- Document hemodynamic data, imaging records, and procedure charges accurately
- Maintain communication with clinical teams and report equipment issues promptly
- Support high-acuity cases including stroke, trauma, and emergent interventions
Qualifications (Required)
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Interventional Radiology program
- Active ARRT (R) certification required
- Active BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required
- 1 year Interventional Radiology experience required.
