Clinic: Multispecialty Outpatient Clinic
Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Back Office Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing multispecialty clinic in Lynnwood, CA. This role is responsible for providing clinical support to physicians and ensuring an efficient patient care experience across multiple specialties.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities- Room patients and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.)
- Prepare patients for exams, procedures, and treatments
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as:
- Injections (IM/SubQ, as permitted)
- Phlebotomy and specimen collection
- EKGs and point-of-care testing
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
- Clean and prepare exam rooms between patients
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of medical instruments
- Manage patient flow and coordinate with front office staff as needed
- Provide patient education and instructions under provider supervision
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Current MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire
- At least 1 year of back office/clinical MA experience preferred
- Experience in a multispecialty or high-volume clinic is a plus
- Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, NextGen, eClinicalWorks)
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and professional bedside manner
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation accuracy

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
