Job Description
This role supports manufacturing operations by safely handling, stocking, and pulling parts, as well as delivering materials and supplies throughout the facility. You will perform a wide range of material handling and warehousing functions, accurately use data collection and software systems, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment on a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Perform material handling and warehousing functions, including receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Stock and pull parts accurately and deliver materials and supplies to designated areas in a timely manner.
- Accurately utilize data collection systems to track inventory, material movements, and order status.
- Perform bin transfer confirmations and verify all material pulled for production orders to ensure accuracy.
- Effectively use software systems and computers to access, enter, and update information related to receiving, counting, and order processing.
- Maintain administrative records and documentation related to material handling activities.
- Operate mobile equipment, including forklifts and high reach equipment, as required to facilitate material movement.
- Use RF scanners and other inventory tools to perform counts, track materials, and support inventory accuracy.
- Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment as required.
- Assist in identifying issues in material flow or processes and help initiate corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct 5S audits to support workplace organization, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Perform Safety Stop audit observations as required to support a strong safety culture.
- Participate in continuous improvement and problem identification/solving (CI/PID) processes.
- Support cross-training by performing duties in various areas of the shop as assigned.
- Follow established production system standard work instructions and procedures.
- Promote a culture aligned with the organization’s values in action by modeling professional and respectful behavior.
- Follow all facility safety policies, safe job procedures, and hazard risk assessments while using appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Work collaboratively with a variety of employees throughout the day to communicate needs and complete job-related tasks.
- Contribute positively to a team environment and support coworkers to meet shared goals.
- Ensure customer requirements are met by maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and quality in all material handling activities.

- Interface effectively with plant management, supervisors, and production personnel to support operational needs.
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, and performing repetitive motions safely.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support department and facility operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of job-related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proven record of good attendance and reliability.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team setting.

- Ability to sit or stand as needed to perform essential functions, and to walk or travel to other areas of the plant and warehouses.
- Ability to perform safe execution of repetitive motions and handle physical exertion such as lifting, pushing, or pulling components or parts.
- Adequate visual and hearing abilities to safely perform job duties.
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and follow standard work procedures.
- Experience conducting or participating in 5S audits and workplace organization initiatives.
- Familiarity with safety audits, observations, and safety-focused programs.
- Experience participating in continuous improvement or process improvement activities.
- Comfort working with production system frameworks and standard work instructions.
- Ability to serve as a positive role model and support a culture of integrity, teamwork, and accountability.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing and warehouse setting on a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. You will work around production lines, storage areas, and shipping/receiving docks, frequently moving between different areas of the plant and other warehouses as needed. The role involves regular use of forklifts, high reach equipment, RF scanners, and computer systems for data entry and inventory management. You will perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, reaching above shoulder height and below the waist, and repetitive motions. The job requires safe lifting, pushing, and pulling of components or parts, including repetitive lifting and carrying of up to 35 pounds. Personal protective equipment is required as appropriate for specific tasks, and safety policies, procedures, and hazard assessments guide daily work. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.97 - $27.82/hr.
