Job Description
Operators plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by accurately bending and shaping metal components according to precise specifications. This position ensures that production goals are met during the second shift by operating press brake machinery safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.
- Ensure production goals are met during the second shift.
- Maintain safe and efficient operation of press brake machinery.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Comply with OSHA safety regulations and best practices.
Essential Skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with shift work.
- Familiarity with CNC press brake programming and operation.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Certification in press brake operation or metal fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating press brake machinery or similar metal fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating bend angles and dimensions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
