Qualifications of Orthopedic Physician Assistant:
  • Education: Master’s from an accredited PA program
  • Licensure: Active NY PA License. Must be Board Certified
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Physician Assistant experience in an Orthopedic clinical setting required.
  • Technical Skills: eClinicalWorks proficiency.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Patient-centered communication.
    • Collaborative care coordination.

Key Responsibilities of Orthopedic Physician Assistant:
  • Conduct orthopedic evaluations (acute injuries/chronic conditions).
  • Assist in clinic-based procedures (joint injections, aspirations).
