Machinist - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in automotive drive systems, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process, supporting the production line with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Mebane, NC

Pay Range: $18.00

Shift: 2nd and 3rd 8-hour shifts
2nd shift: 2:45pm - 11:15pm
3rd shift: 10:45pm - 7:15am
Must be able to work overtime!

What's the Job?

• Operate semi-complex machinery and equipment to support manufacturing processes
• Follow established procedures to carry out operational tasks and meet performance standards
• Perform equipment changeovers accurately according to detailed instructions
• Conduct TPM checks and activities to ensure equipment reliability
• Assist with quality assurance testing and maintain safety and environmental protocols

What's Needed?

• Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably with CNC machining or robotics
• Ability to read gauges and interpret technical data
• Willingness to work overtime and stand for up to 7 hours
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
