Coffee’s Moving and Storage is looking for a dependable, hardworking Mover / Helper to join our team.

We are a local, family-owned moving and storage company based in the Dayton, Ohio area, proudly serving residential and commercial customers since 1965. Our company provides local and long-distance moving, packing and unpacking, specialty moving, and private storage services. This is a physical, hands-on job. You will help load, unload, lift, carry, wrap, protect, and move household goods, furniture, boxes, appliances, and specialty items. Some days may be long, some jobs may be difficult, and the weather is not always perfect. We need someone who can show up on time, work hard, follow directions, and represent the company professionally.

• Load and unload trucks with furniture, boxes, appliances, household goods, and other customer belongings.
• Carry items in and out of homes, apartments, offices, storage units, warehouses, and trucks.
• Assist with wrapping, padding, shrink-wrapping, and protecting furniture and customer property.
• Help protect floors, walls, doors, railings, and other areas of the customer’s home or business.
• Use moving equipment such as dollies, straps, ramps, pads, and hand trucks safely.
• Assist with local moves, long-distance moves, residential moves, commercial moves, packing, unpacking, and storage-related jobs.
• Help with specialty moving jobs when needed, including heavy or difficult items such as safes, hot tubs, pool tables, or other large items.
• Follow directions from drivers, crew leaders, supervisors, and management.
• Communicate respectfully with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Keep trucks, equipment, warehouse areas, and job sites clean and organized.
• Work indoors and outdoors as needed, including occasional work in adverse weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, or icy conditions when work can be performed safely.
• Represent Coffee’s Moving and Storage in a professional, respectful, and dependable manner.

• Must be dependable and show up on time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean or reasonably clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 40+ pounds regularly throughout the workday.
• Must be able to occasionally move items weighing 100+ pounds with assistance, proper technique, and appropriate moving equipment.
