About this job

This role will assist with clinics for respiratory fit testing and flu as needed. May conduct RFT and give injections for the Flu.

Qualifications

  1. Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Classwork regarding medication administration required.
  2. Licensure/Certification: The following licensure and/or certifications are required. 
    • Current AHA or equivalent certification in BLS. 

    • Medical Assistant state or national certification.

  3. Experience: Previous experience with medication administration required.  One year of acute care hospital experience or ambulatory care setting. Employee Health experience preferred.

  4. Skills: Basic medical terminology, typing, and computer skills.  Extremely high attention to detail. High work initiative, and autonomy necessary in order to successfully do this role.  Maintains confidentiality.  Critical thinking. 

  5. Interpersonal SkillsDemonstrates the True North values.   6. Compensation: $32 to $39 based on years of experience doing the duties of the role.

Compensation Structure

NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1–5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements.

NorthBay Health is primarily an onsite organization due to the nature of healthcare. Some roles may allow hybrid or remote work based on business needs.
