The Surfside Grill Lead is responsible for supporting daily operations, maintaining service standards, training team members, and serving as a key communication link between Front of House, Back of House, and management.
The Surfside Grill Lead is responsible for the following:
- Maintain full-time availability in Surfside Grill, including opening and closing shifts as needed.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of and ability to perform all Surfside Grill positions and duties.
- Manage and organize ordering for dry storage and operational supplies through BirchStreet and/or IMF.
- Assist with onboarding and training new hires, including uniforms, name tags, lockers, orientation, and departmental procedures.
- Complete and distribute the daily Manager Report.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to ensure consistency in service standards and operational execution.
- Maintain strong communication with Front of House, Back of House, interns, managers, and directors regarding daily operations, staffing needs, and member concerns.
- Work with manager to ensure compliance with all health department regulations, food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and club policies.
- Handle member concerns and service recovery situations professionally, communicating relevant information to management and culinary teams as needed.
- Create and print operational signage as needed, including daily specials, menus, event notices, and other communication materials.
- Support managers in maintaining organization, cleanliness, preparedness, and overall operational excellence within Surfside Grill.

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
