Job Description

*Position is based on a 174-day contract (9-months) with the option of your annual salary spread out over 12 months when taking benefits.

*Part-time 20 hours/week.

*Guaranteed 2 hours per route.

*Activity routes (sports, field trips, etc) are paid at an hourly rate in addition to the regular bus route.  Hourly activity rates vary.

*High School Diploma or GED required.

*Valid Commercial Driver's License with S & P endorsements required.

*CDL Training available.

*A background check and pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Screening will be required.

*Physical and TB test will be required, and is the financial responsibility of the applicant upon employment.

*Will receive 9 days of sick leave per contract year. 

*This position is eligible for health and dental insurance through Blue Cross and Blue Shield, vision insurance, Pre-Paid Legal, and a variety of supplemental Section 125 insurances through American Fidelity.

*Employer Medical Defined Benefit (district monthly contribution towards the employee health plan) for the 2025-26 school year for part-time employees is currently $405.50 towards a single plan ($4,866.00 yearly), and $453.00 towards a family plan ($5,436.00 yearly).

*USD 331 offers an Employer Paid Match monthly contribution to a 403b-retirement account for eligible employees up to 3.5% of base salary.
