Job Description
Peak Living is seeking a qualified and motivated Customer Care & Collections Specialist to join our growing team!

This position plays a key role in supporting our residents by delivering exceptional customer service while also assisting with resident account management and collections efforts.
Responsibilities- Manage incoming calls, emails, and written correspondence in a professional and timely manner
- Support residents by providing accurate information, answering questions, and resolving concerns related to leases, policies, payments, and community operations
- Assist residents in understanding lease terms, charges, payment options, and account balances
- Handle resident collections efforts, including:
- Contacting residents regarding past due balances
- Coordinating payment arrangements
- Following up on delinquent accounts
- Documenting collection activity
- Assisting with notices and account communication in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Work collaboratively with onsite teams to resolve resident account issues and improve collections performance
- Follow up on service-related concerns to ensure resident satisfaction and timely resolution
- Maintain accurate records and provide monthly reporting to leadership regarding resident interactions, trends, and collections activity
- Deliver a high level of customer service while maintaining professionalism and empathy during difficult conversations
- Support company goals related to resident retention, customer satisfaction, and delinquency reduction
- Previous experience in property management, leasing, collections, or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of apartment leasing and resident relations is highly desirable
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally and confidently
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, but bilingual ability is not required
