Internal Medicine Physician

Physician Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at Senior Care. As a full-time Senior Care physician, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive medical care to our geriatric patients. With a focus on promoting health and wellness, our team of physicians work collaboratively to provide the highest quality of care to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in any of the following areas: geriatric care, relocation assistance, and schedule and shift details. This position offers a combination of in-office visits and telehealth appointments, allowing for a flexible and efficient work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide primary care to geriatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of chronic conditions

- Conduct thorough physical exams and medical histories

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging

- Prescribe medications and monitor patient response

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients

- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and treatment options

- Utilize telehealth technology to conduct virtual appointments and follow-ups

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation

- Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school

- Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice

- Board certification in Internal Medicine

- At least 1 year of experience in geriatric care, relocation assistance, or schedule and shift details

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently

- Experience with electronic medical records and telehealth technology preferred
