Multi-Hole Machine Operator: Freeport, Illinois
Our customer in Freeport, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting a Multi-Hole Machine Operator to work full-time on 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm). As a Multi-Hole Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining precision production processes, ensuring machine performance, and producing high-quality components.
Responsibilities of the Multi-Hole Machine Operator:
- Operate and monitor multi-hole machinery to ensure consistent and efficient production.
- Interpret subtle changes in machine performance and adjust as needed.
- Perform die setup and alignment with precision.
- Maintain process stability through careful attention to detail and consistency.
- Troubleshoot issues using strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
- Understand material behavior to optimize production outcomes.
- Work collaboratively to meet production and quality standards.
Multi-Hole Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with complex machinery such as CNC equipment, grinders, drawing machines, or laser machines.
- Solid mechanical aptitude.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent production quality.
- Ability to learn and adapt to specialized equipment and processes.
- Willingness to train on 1st shift for 4–8 weeks before transitioning to 2nd shift.
Pay for Multi-Hole Machine Operator: Starting at $23.50/hour.
