Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Benefits & Payroll Coordinator to support the financial and operational side of our growing insurance and financial services agency. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate payroll, commission, PTO, and employee benefit records while helping ensure smooth day-to-day administrative operations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, trustworthy, and comfortable managing sensitive financial and employee information in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll preparation, reimbursements, and related reporting
  • Track employee PTO, unpaid time off, and attendance records
  • Monitor and reconcile commissions and chargebacks
  • Maintain organized digital employee and financial records
  • Assist with onboarding and benefits administration support
  • Support CPA and bookkeeping partners with requested documentation and reporting
  • Reconcile accounts, expenses, and financial transactions
  • Help improve operational systems, workflows, and administrative processes
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness across all financial and HR-related tasks

Qualifications

  • Previous bookkeeping, payroll, or administrative accounting experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally
  • Comfortable handling multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and follow-through skills
  • Proficient with spreadsheets, digital file management, and office software
