Family Visitation Program Supervisor
Community Care is seeking a full-time Supervisor to supervise the Family Visitation Program in Somerset, Knox, and Waldo Counties. The Supervisor will be based in Skowhegan but regular travel to Rockland and Belfast is required. The Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and supporting Visit Support Workers, reviewing and assigning visitation referrals, assisting in supervising visits when necessary, overseeing the visitation centers, reviewing documentation, and working as a member of a team to manage the Family Visitation Program. They will have availability during the peak hours of 2-7pm Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to adjust work hours as necessary to meet the needs of the program. An agency cell phone and laptop are provided.
The Supervisor must have reliable transportation and a State of Maine driver's license to provide transportation for youth to and from visits as necessary. To fulfill the duties of this position, you must be able to lift young children in and out of vehicles/car seats and carry infants in their car seats/young children to and from vehicles.
Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 21 years of age or older;
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field;
- At least 12 months of previously documented experience working with children and families
- Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
