Position: Medical Assistant

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 18:00)

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to join its busy OB/GYN outpatient clinic in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient experience, proficiency in blood draws and specimen collection, and hands-on experience assisting with various OB/GYN procedures. This role supports approximately 20 providers delivering comprehensive women's healthcare services, including obstetrics, gynecology consultations, and in-office procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience.
• Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN experience.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
• Proficiency with:
• Venipuncture and blood draws
• Specimen collection and labeling
• Patient rooming and intake
• Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
