About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Watkins Glen Corning KOA Resort as a Food Service/Food Truck team member! This exciting role offers the chance to serve delicious BBQ in a vibrant outdoor setting, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items from the food truck menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Interact with guests to provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system.
- Participate in food truck events and festivals as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or food truck operations preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Food handler's certification is a plus.
